Class of 2012 : Adopting Trees
As with all the other classes at Pleasant View Elementary School, at the end of their Kindergarten year, students in the Class of 2012 met the trees that will grow with them through their years at Pleasant View. Each adopted a tree and had his or her picture taken with it. If they stay at Pleasant View through 5th grade, they’ll get their picture taken again before they graduate, and marvel at the changes to them and their trees that 5 years can make! Meanwhile, Mrs. Strang challenged them to remember their tree’s number and location through the long summer vacation, and see if they can find it right away when they come back as first graders in Fall 2008.
