Kindergarten (Class of 2011)-April 2006
“If I give you one natural item, can you find others like it?”
That was the question posed to the Class of 2011. They took a hike in the Forest Study Site to find a natural object that matched the one they were each carrying in a zip lock bag, as they learned about the shapes and forms of many common natural objects including seeds, cones, and leaves. They also sang a song about what plants need to survive: food from the ground, clean air all around, rain falling down! Their picture shows them with the special objects they found during their investigation.
